Maraş Boycott Vigil
The Maraş Boycott Vigil is;A civil society movement that emerged due to the normalization of oppression in our country and the decline in boycott awareness.
It was established to be the voice of the innocent in Palestine, East Turkistan, and Sudan, and to raise awareness in society against brands that support genocide.
It was established to show that the good are as present in the squares as the evil.
Our Goals
In an era where thousands unite in Western countries, sparking the saying 'The Sun is Rising from the West,' we say: ‘WE HOPE FOR THE SUN TO RISE FROM OUR COUNTRY.’ With this goal, we aim to unite with conscientious and benevolent individuals who share our cause against boycott-targeted entities, expanding our struggle and awakening sleeping hearts. Kindness belongs only to the good..
Why Social Media?
On October 5, 2025, the largest Palestine rally in Kahramanmaraş was held with 25,000 participants. During this process, unprecedented theatrical visuals reached millions through both social media and national news channels.
A major turning point in our story occurred on October 20, 2025, when three youths leaving a Starbucks shouted, "Death to Palestine, Long Live Israel."
Since then, the Maraş Boycott Vigil has maintained an active presence on social media since October 30.
Do Not Be Complicit in Silence
We reject brands that have turned into the financiers of oppression. Every local product you choose is not just support for the economy; it is a stand against the screams echoing under the bombs.
Every Penny Counts
See the blood behind that barcode before you shop. Every purchase you consider insignificant can turn into a bullet in the oppressor's inventory. Be the breath of life for those who want to live.
Be the Terror of the Oppressor
Boycotting is not a one-day trend; it is a sustainable righteous anger. Oppressors only understand power and money. By stripping this economic power from their hands, we fuel their arrogance and panic, building an unshakable wall against injustice.
A Lament for the World
This voice rising from Kahramanmaraş carries the sorrow of mothers who have lost their children and fathers whose homes have crumbled upon them. We are not merely waiting here; we feel the fear of the oppressed in our hearts and call for an awakening by proclaiming this pain to the entire world.
